March came in like a lamb and is going out like a lion. Peace of mind has been hard to come by. As April approached with the threat of another winter storm I felt an urge to curl up in anticipation of strong head winds. It’s been a long winter, and an exhausting 60 days.

I’ve found solace and comfort in the company of family, friends and the folks I’ve gotten to know in my work at a senior living community. I’ve been surrounded by wise and good humored people who have lived through difficult times and the phrase I hear from them is “This too shall pass.”
I’ll carry this advice into the coming month of April, and leave the pranks and threats of April Fool’s Day to others.
